What is céilí? Irish céilí dancing is group dances performed by couples and groups to live, traditional Irish music. … Some dances are performed by a line of men facing a line of women (Haymakers Jig, Rince Fada etc.) while others ore performed by any number of couples in a circle (Rince Mór). This lively dancing and lessons are included with your admission ticket to the Irish Festival. Lessons are taught on site on Friday night at 6:00 p.m. on the Main Stage by Brian Reynolds beginning at 7:00 p.m.
